August 3rd, 2008 (Wallingford, CT) – CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC successfully completed ISO 9001:2000 certification as a independent operating company. “Re-establishing ISO 9001:2000 certification so soon after becoming an independent company tells our customers that we are committed to quality as a way of business,” said Jim Sirkis, CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC president.  “Customers know we will continue to deliver products of uncompromising quality.”

CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC Names O&S Associates as Exclusive Manufacturer’s Representative in Massachusetts
April 20th, 2008 (Wallingford, CT) –CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC has named its long standing partner, O&S Associates, as its exclusive manufacturer’s representative in  Massachusetts.  O&S Associates will continue to represent CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC  in the North Eastern United States on a non-exclusive basis.  O&S Associates (www.oands.us) maintains an office in New Bedford, MA.  “We are delighted to strengthen our ties with O&S Associates,” said Jim Sirkis, CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC president.  “They will allow us to provide more focused support to our increasing customer base in Massachusetts.”

The Griot Group Becomes CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC’s Exclusive Manufacturer’s Representative in California

CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC Launches the Slipstream™ Flow Cell Product Line
February  2nd, 2008 (Wallingford, CT) – CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC has launched the SlipStream™ flow cell product line.   The SilpStream™ technology uses low temperature and pressure processes to produce planar flow cells with industry leading optical quality and cost.  The target markets for CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC flow cells are life sciences, medical devices and chemical analysis instrumentation that need permanent instrumentation flow cells or consumables flow cells.

CiDRA® Precision Services Becomes an Independent Company
 December 14th, 2007 (Wallingford, CT) – Private investors acquire the CiDRA® Precision Services Business Unit from CiDRA® Corporation.  The new company will operate under the name CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC and will continue to operate from its facilities in Wallingford, CT.    “All of the employees at CiDRA® Precision Services, LLC are excited by the opportunity to contribute to the success of the new and independent company,” said Jim Sirkis, President.   “We can now focus exclusively on bringing value and service to our customers.”

A collaborative effort by three grinding companies has resulted in a process for creating profiles in diamond grinding wheels. It solved a knotty manufacturing problem for one Connecticut manufacturer and holds promise for others.
